CHIO Aachen 2011: P.S.I. sporthorses successfully
Exciting was the this year CHIO in Aachen. But not only the sport was top-class and nerve-wracking, this was also relevant for the weather.
Dressage:
Der Stern (P.S.I. collection 2005, Dormello/Sion), Tesch Inkasso Cup winner of Balve, and his rider Isabell Werth were with a 5th (71,5%) and 6th (70,9%) rank in the small tour very successful and got top results in the high carat international starter field.
The Schockemöhle breeding sire and Gribaldi offspring Totilas, presented by Matthias Rath, could celebrate 3 victories (Grand Prix, Special & Freestyle) in the big international tour with best marks and saved a fix place in ther German team. Also Hof Kasselmann neighbour Christoph Koschel and his dark chestnut Donnperignon could reach with top and steady results (Grand Prix & Special: rank 6, Freestyle: rank 5) a place in the A-cadre team.
Show jumping:
A real thriller was the Rolex Grand Prix óf Aachen. As the only one with two clear rounds celebrated Janne-Friederike Meyer and her small Cellagon Lambrasco the victory in the highly remunerated 5* jumping on Sunday. Schockemöhle breeding stallion Chacco Blue (sired by Chambertin/Contender) and the 20 year old rider Andreas Kreuzer jumped with a clear round and only one drop down in the secound tour on the sensational 3rd place in the overall ranking.
In the youngster final were als two P.S.I. horses in front. Under the saddle of Lars Nieberg reached the mare Coco Mademoiselle (P.S.I. collection 2009, Cento/Landadel) with 2 clear rounds the 3rd place. The Schockemöhle pair Kreuzer and Balou Lover (by Baloubet de Rouet/Cento) were placed on the 10th rank with only one drop down in the second round.
