The US NF annouced that Combined Drivers Tucker Johnson is the recepient of the 2011 Whitney Stone Cup
The award is presented annually to an active competitor who displays consitent excellence in international competitions and high standards of sportmanlike conduct while serving as an ambassador of the United States and equestrian sport.
That is the second year that Tucker Johnson received the Whitney Stone Cup, after being awarded the prestigious honor in 2001. After helping the US team wan a silver medal at the WEG 2002, Johson went on to repeat performance at the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equesitrian Games in Kentucky. He was a member of the silver medal team and after earning 150.06 points over three phases of competition he took home the individual bronze medal. Johson is also known to us well trained dressage horses for his team.
